Do you want to see more happening in relation to ecological restoration in Australia?

If so, have you thought about nominating to go on the Board of the Australian Association of Bush Regenerators (AABR), or joining one of our many Working Groups?

AABR Board members come from a broad range of backgrounds: including volunteer and professional bush regenerators, environmental consultants, academics, local and State government officers and those passionate about the bush and its management.

All Board members can play a part in driving better protection and restoration of our precious ecosystems. From helping develop policies and position statements to writing submissions; from leading working groups to engaging in consultation; from providing advice to the Board to running on line events; Board members can positively influence how bushland is managed and drive knowledge and practice.

The influence of AABR is the strength and involvement of its members, and the most influential way for members to effect change is through becoming a Board member.

This year the AABR AGM is being held at AABR Fest at the Kariong Scout Camp on the Central Coast of NSW and online.

If you would like to attend in person please still register for the online event, so we know you’re attending the AGM and this will be your pass to the Sunday program of AABR Fest.

To nominate for one of the 10 positions available please complete the nomination form and email to admin@aabr.org.au by Sunday 27th October. If you are having difficulties finding a nominator or seconder the Board members can provide assistance.

If you are considering nominating you will require a Directors ID, before you are appointed, as AABR is registered Australian body. The details for obtaining a Director’s ID are here.

There is also an option to nominate from the floor on the day.
