Waratah Eco Works (WEW) is seeking Qualified and Trainee Bush Regenerators to join our expanding team. The positions offer casual, full time or part time work for the right candidates. We have an inclusive, caring work team and would like to find team members that fit this ethos.
WEW conducts bush rehabilitation on various sites across the greater Sydney area and currently is experiencing exciting growth in sites in the Northern and North-Western suburbs of Greater Sydney. The work involves a range of activities including: bush regeneration, bush rehabilitation, revegetation activities, creek armouring, track construction and maintenance, use of machinery (chainsaws, brush cutters).
WEW seeks additional staff to help us with expanded activities
Essential Requirements for Qualified and Trainee Bush Regenerators:
- Hold a qualification in the Certificate III Conservation and Land Management/ Cert III Conservation & Ecosystem Management, or higher OR be undertaking the course OR have the equivalent in field experience
- Available to work 3-5 days per week.
- Own transport – many of our sites are not accessible via public transport
- OHS White Card
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Excellent physical fitness
- Reliability and punctuality
Site allocations would vary depending on your location, client contracts and other business considerations.
