Mini-Spring Bush Regen Camp
Wednesday 11th to Friday 15th September

An update from Tom Clarke

We will be working across three days, Wednesday 11^th , Thursday 12^th and Friday 13^th  in September.

People opting to camp will be able to arrive Tuesday 10^th and leave Saturday 14^th. Please note (it has just recently dawned on us) that Local Council Elections will be on that day so make sure you have plenty of time to get home or make other arrangements.

Camping is free at Kylie’s Beach Camp, Crowdy Bay NP for those who register. With that in mind, please provide your names, car rego and state the nights you intend to camp when you reply. This information will be forwarded to NPWS to book your place at the camp. Later, I will send out specific details about the camp site and what to bring to those that are coming.

Just last week, an inspection of all the sites we have been working on reveals mostly wonderful regeneration happening (like mad) and by September the heath areas (Figtree Road, Mermaid Track especially) will be looking an absolute treat. These places will represent “must visit” activities after work each day.

Actual work will be carried out mostly at Indian Head (full sweeps), Kylies’ Rainforest (detailed searching) and Diamond Head (specific targets) but if time allows there will be some other bits and pieces to do in identified locations.

Volunteer bonuses

Volunteers receive an exemption from camping and park entry fees.
