Parsley Bay – Council caring for the bush
Parsley Bay 1 Horler Ave, Vaucluse, NSW, AustraliaJoin regular volunteers in Bushcare under the guidance of Council’s experienced Bushcare Liaison Officer, Rudi Adlmayer. Thursday 23 March 9am-12pm. Its spectacular sandstone cliffs are pocked by caves and rock overhangs and a small watercourse. Originally home to the Birrabirragal band, a coastal group of First Nations people who clustered around South Head. By the early 20th century, some Europeans fortunately acted to protect at least part of the foreshore for the public access. The construction of kiosks, and a large lawn for picnicking and changing facilities and a historic footbridge make this a gem for exploring and drawing.
